The Caribbean has always been popular for winter sun and it's one of my favourite destinations - you can't beat a cold beer on the beach with a bit of background reggae!
It's great to see clients looking forward and booking great hotels like @curtain_bluff for later this year.
This luxury, all inclusive property boats two beaches, action packed activities from tennis to water sports, state of the art spa and gym, outstanding dining including one of the best wine cellars in the Caribbean PLUS all rooms have stunning sea views....
The fate of our summer holidays is still unknown until the next government update later this month.
I have been in touch with everyone due to travel in July and August to discuss options and delay balances where possible.
Some people are still keen to travel to Amber destinations if they can quarantine on return but for others it's just not practical, in which case we can amend or cancel.
I won't be taking any new bookings for July and August until we have a definite Green light but many people are still booking with low deposits and flexible terms for later this year and next. Let's face it, we all need something to look forward to!
One lucky couple hope to be jetting off to the fabulous all inclusive lifestyle resort, IKOS Dassia Corfu in September.
On a more positive note than my last post, plenty of people are getting dreamy holidays booked in for later this year with low deposits and flexible terms, including a fab couple headed for @kanuhuramaldives in November 😊...
Catching the last of the sun with a large G&T and @condenasttraveller before kids go back and getting work head back on to handle the inevitable holiday changes and cancellations following the recent blow to summer travel 😭...
Easy sub 2 hour drive, fish n' chips on arrival and a gorgeous sunset dog walk messing about on the beach, perfect! Well almost....until youngest child started moaning due to itchy wet clothes (he did dive straight in fully dressed). Walk back up to house not so fun 😂
So who's jumping on a plane to Portugal after the 17th May?
Yesterday's government announcement following the Global Travel Taskforce review wasn't quite a positive as we had hoped, with a very limited number of leisure destinations on the Green List, notably Portugal and Madeira.
The list will be reviewed every 3 weeks so let's hope more of our favourite summer destinations will move from Amber to Green before the summer 🤞🤞🤞...
We finally have these gorgeous @clay.and.rock tiles laid (thanks to a life saving, fabulous tiler after a couple let us down). Just grout and silicone to finish tomorrow and then the sink, shower and screen can be fitted.
